Recognizing the growing need for mental health support among our Union Sisters and Brothers, the I.B.E.W. 38 took action.
Out of this need, the Membership Assistance Program (M.A.P.) was born—
a powerful, peer-led resource dedicated to supporting the well-being of our members.

What is MAP?
Life doesn’t always follow a straight path—and sometimes, it’s easy to feel lost, overwhelmed, or stuck. That’s where the M.A.P. comes in.
The M.A.P. is more than just a support group, it’s a safe, judgment-free space where adults come together to rediscover their direction and build the confidence to move forward.
Whether you’re navigating a life transition, dealing with stress or burnout, or just looking for a place to belong, the M.A.P. offers:
• Monthly peer-led sessions with guided discussions
• Tools for personal growth and accountability
• A community of people who truly understand
You’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. Let the M.A.P. help you find your way forward. Your journey starts here. Let’s walk it together.
Check out our Resource Guide for mental wellness information and help.
MAP is free to join and open to members of IBEW Local 38 at this time. For meeting times/location, contact us.
